PS: Please bring along a packet of wet tissue as things may get a lil messy somewhere somehow. =) Was greeted by warm staffs as I enter KSS, a new baby of Jason Atherton, with her sister, Esquina, just around the corner. Ordered the DIY Tuna Tartare ($17) and the Kimchi Burger ($20).
Few mins later, the DIY Tuna Tartare arrived promptly on the table. As unclear as the others on how to get my hands on it, the friendly waitress did a quick brief to me on how things should go. The wasabi mayo is recommended to be brush onto the thin-n-light crisp bread. For the rest of the ingredients, down with the tuna. The finished tuna should be then transferred over to the bread and should be eaten like a bruschetta. The tuna is fresh and the condiments compliments well with the tuna. (Forgot to take a pic of the end-product.)

After I have finished with all the playing and tasting, the Kimchi Burger was sent to me without any delay. The time in between each dish served was just nice, probably because there were only 4 tables filled the time I went. I asked for a medium-well for the wagyu patty. The burger is HUGE in height. I did not know where to place my lips on and had a tough time contemplating. Oh wells, the onions came off in between. You are supposed to eat the burger served with the kimchi that came alongside with it. Or not, it defeats the purpose of ordering a Kimchi Burger, isn’t it. The wagyu is satisfying to the palate and the taste of the kimchi does not overdo its master.
